Overview
The DS620slim is the odd one out on the desktop shelf: six bays for laptop-size drives in a case closer to a book than a tower — though tower is what our catalogue calls it — bought for desks, studios and anywhere acoustics matter. It is stocked new through the same China-to-Shenzhen pipeline as the rest of our Synology range, and no unit goes to the courier before being powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded. Cover: 1-yr hardwaresys RTB. Small drives are the design constraint and the shopping list, so the practical question is capacity per bay against noise and heat — tell us the balance you want and request a quote.
