Overview
The R350 is the single-socket rack server a site buys when the R250 is not quite enough and a two-socket machine is more than the workload deserves. Bought new, it is built from original components and has never carried anyone's data. Builds follow orders here. You describe what it has to do, we assemble it to that specification, and before dispatch it is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded. Procurement spans Chinese suppliers and the audit is done in our own Shenzhen warehouse. Our term is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, and anything longer is the vendor's cover and is attributed to the vendor — + vendor to 36 mo. The refurbished R350 sits on its own card. New is what a branch deployment or a regulated environment usually needs; refurbished is what a lab or a spares shelf usually needs.
