Overview
The R670 is the dense rack machine in Dell's newest line, and like the rest of that generation it appears here new only — nothing has come off lease or out of a decommissioned row yet, because the rows are still being built. It ships assembled from original components with no prior service. Builds are placed once the order exists. Your configuration goes to the suppliers we work through, and the machine is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded before we release it. Buying runs across China, auditing at our own Shenzhen warehouse. The term we carry is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, with the vendor's own entitlement remaining the vendor's and quoted that way — + vendor to 36 mo. On a line this new the question is rarely whether a unit can be had but when; send the bill of materials and the answer comes back as a date rather than a shrug.
