Overview
The FlashSystem 9500 is high-end IBM storage, and the buying conversation around it is about data services, replication and support commitments rather than about a box. This catalogue lists it new for the reason every serious array is listed new: the controllers hold somebody's only copy of something. Supply is arranged against your configuration after the order. Each unit is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded before it is released. Buying runs across Chinese supply with the quality audit done at our Shenzhen warehouse. Our cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, and IBM's own entitlement is separate, belongs to IBM and is quoted as the vendor's — + vendor to 36 mo. For a platform at this level, send the capacity, the data services you need and the host environment: the enclosure is the least interesting part of the quote.
