Overview
The DG Series is Lenovo’s capacity-oriented all-flash line running ONTAP, and the DG5200 is its smaller controller pair. It takes NVMe drives, serves block and file from the same system and can join a cluster of up to four HA pairs. That makes it a route for organisations retiring hybrid arrays full of hard drives who want flash for general file shares, VMware datastores and backup copies rather than for tier-one latency. It is offered new. The array is ordered in China once the specification is settled, then checked at our Shenzhen warehouse — controllers, drive set and accessories against the order — with serials put on record. 1-yr hardwaresys RTB + vendor’s own warranty. Each HA pair has a minimum drive population and a minimum capacity, so the first thing to tell us is the usable capacity you are after; we size the drive set from that figure, and you can request a quote.
