Overview
The XR8610t is the telecom-shaped member of Dell's XR line: a half-width, single-socket sled that slides into the short-depth XR8000 chassis found in cell-site cabinets and central offices. Its Xeon Scalable processor can be ordered with vRAN Boost, the on-die acceleration Intel aimed at Open RAN distributed units, which is why mobile operators and their integrators are the usual buyers. We supply it new, procured for the order in hand. It reaches our Shenzhen warehouse sealed; there the sled is inspected, compared line by line with the requested build, its serial numbers go into our log, and only then does it return to the box. Cover: 1-yr hardwaresys RTB + vendor’s own warranty. Operators trialling a design can also look at the refurbished XR8610t listing. This sled has no drive bays and boots from internal M.2, so the open questions sit elsewhere: tell us whether the site feeds AC or DC power and whether the processor needs vRAN Boost, and request a quote.
